It’s the second time around for volunteers who have made it an effort to revive the “Santa Park” holiday attraction that was slashed from Erie County’s budget.

The annual attraction at Chestnut Ridge Park was hosted by Erie County and was cancelled in 2005. Revitalize Buffalo and Western New York Coalition for Progress, in conjunction with the Erie County Department of Parks and Recreation have joined forces to bring back the event on the weekends in December.

Organizers say this year’s event will be bigger and better.

Attendees are asked to bring a donation of baby formula or money for the Food Bank of Western New York which has an urgent need for formula.

Santaland will be held between 10:00am and 4:00pm on December 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th in the Casino building at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park.
