Cindy Sheehan v. George W. Bush

Much has been written about Cindy Sheehan and her protest in front of President George W. Bush's Texas Ranch. I'm writing in support of Cindy Sheehan and her wish to speak to President George W. Bush (The W. stands for "Willing...to send your family, but not his"). Ms. Sheehan's son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004, and now she would like to speak to Mr. Bush and request that he bring the troops home.
You may recall during the 2004 Presidential campaign there was all kinds of coverage of Mr. Bush consoling a young girl (Ashley Faulkner) who had lost her mom in the 9/11 attacks. The Republican National Committee boasted how his compassion helped "heal" the girl. Now President Bush has the opportunity again to show off his healing powers. After all we now know that Iraq had nothing to do with those horrific attacks. Why won't he meet with her? One dead soldier's mother wants talk to the man that sent her son to Iraq.
Let's get this straight, none of Mr. Bush's cabinet, no Republican Senator or Congressman has lost a child in Iraq. But they all want to continue the war. The issue I believe is she represents many mothers and fathers and sons and daughters that have first hand experience and a different opinion. I would encourage any and all those that find fault with her mission to either seek active duty in the military, seek employment with Halliburton go to Iraq yourself. Hey, maybe the Bush twins would like to go. Someone needs to tell President Bush that unlike his public appearances where only enthusiastic republicans are invited, this is the real world - there are other points of view. If he wants to lead all of America, then he needs to talk to all Americans.
