ELECTION REFORM WORKING GROUP


The members of the Election Reform Working Group work to ensure that all persons are given the opportunity to vote, and that all votes are counted. Some of our Members served as election inspectors during the 2004 election, and bring their expertise to the group.

The Group is also reviewing the issue related to the new voting machines that are to be used in New York starting in 2006 as required by the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). No matter which system is employed, the Election Reform Working Group demands that such system must be able to leave a paper trail for each vote.
